FAQ

FAQs

Got a question? We’re here to help.

  • Do I need to bring anything with me to class?

We recommend bringing everything you may need for your baby on a typical journey out. For example, nappies, wipes, milk (breast and bottle fed both welcome) and a camera to take photos. If you are attending our StarChaser class with your toddler you may want to bring them a drink and a snack.

  • Can I bring someone with me?

Absolutely! We love extending our classes to our bubs’ wider family so mums, dads, family members or friends can enjoy the magic of our classes too!

  • Is there parking?

All of our venues have a designated car park for our parents apart from Yeovil which is on street parking (ample available).

  • Are there baby changing facilities?

Yes, in all our locations. We encourage our parents to change their babies during class in the circle as to not miss out on anything!

  • What happens if my child becomes upset or has a tantrum during the class?

Your baby may be a little fussy or clingy as they become used to their surroundings. No one will judge you and you would just soothe them as normal.

In terms of tantrums there’s nothing we can do. If you didn’t open your toddler’s snack the right way up, or put their shoes on properly or didn’t buy them a puppy and are lying face down in a rage then… yes we really have seen it all so you won’t be the first and certainly won’t be the last!

  • What if I’m running late?

Everyone is late when they have little ones. Just join us when you can, it doesn’t matter if the class has already started! Just come on in!

  • If I can’t attend my pre-booked class can I receive a refund?

StarBubs don’t offer refunds for classes missed due to prior costs involved. When booking, you secure your place rather than attendance. However, we may be able to offer you a place on the same week but in one of our other locations or offer your space to a friend.

  • Is there an extra charge for siblings?

StarBubs don’t charge any extra for siblings or twins.

  • Do you run in the school holidays?

We run holiday specials during long school holidays which are normally 60 minutes long including an Easter and Christmas special with the Easter Bunny and Santa in attendance! During shorter half terms, our class leaders are normally taking a well-deserved rest with their families!

  • How do I communicate any specific concerns or needs about my child to the class leader?

Please feel free to speak to us before or after your class. You can also contact us via email, our website or our social media pages.

  • Can I join classes at any time during the term.

Yes! Our booking system has a ‘Pick & Play’ flexible booking, meaning you pick the dates you want to attend.

  • What qualifications or certifications do the class leaders have?

Melody – the owner and founder of StarBubs has created and planned every class your child attends. I have a Bachelor of Education degree, specialising in primary education as well as over 7 years of teaching experience in early years and primary school aged children.

All our class leaders have a current DBS and are first aid trained.

  • Can I bring a pushchair or car seat to the class?

Yes, there is space either in our group room or outside of our groups rooms available to store them whilst you attend your class.

  • Can I switch to a different class time or location if needed?

If there is still space in your desired class, you can switch at anytime during the term.

  • Can I take photos and videos?

We welcome photos being taken of your child at StarBubs to keep as memories. We ask and remind everyone at the start of class to only take pictures of your child and if you capture anyone in the background, to block them out. Video recording is not permitted during our classes to safeguard children who cannot be photographed.
