Founder & Class Leader

A warm welcome to you – my name is Melody and I am the founder and owner of StarBubs – providing baby & toddler classes across Devon and The South West.

I am a qualified primary school teacher and have taught in a number of schools across the South West with my last teaching school being in a small village in Exeter.

I am very lucky to have two beautiful and slightly crazy children. A daughter named Starla who is a little version of me and my son - Ronnie - who is a little version of his dad!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my children, going on family days out and shopping – in which to my delight and my husband’s dismay – my daughter loves too! Our favourite shops are IKEA and Dunelm, which proves very dangerous to our bank balance when we are left unsupervised together!

I am Disney obsessed and love anything Disney from snuggling up to a film on Disney+ or filling my home with more Disney memorabilia – in which we ran out of room for about 5 years ago!

My favourite StarBubs theme is Under the Sea. This was my first-ever theme I created and taught. I love the sensory element of it from the lights, materials, and custom-made parachute. The songs are really fun to sing along to and the dress up – Nemo hats and mermaid tails - are beyond cute!
